Brand Manager – Toys, Animation, Online – Dracco Company Limited

Brand Manager   Position Summary: Dracco Co. Ltd. is seeking a talented Brand Manager to manage assigned product brands while contributing to new opportunities for growth. Successful candidates will have experience in toy and brand development and provide the daily management of several brands in our property portfolio. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to ensure a consistent and effective execution of brand goals and deliverables. Must be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results serving as the key brand advocate internally and with external partners, clients and customers.   This position requires a broad set of skills and experiences blending a keen understanding of product and packaging development, strategic thinking, branding, marketing, sales promotion, people management in a challenging and fast paced creative environment!     Key Responsibilities ·         Manage product development activities for assigned business segment / product lines to achieve successful execution of production goals, financial growth and profit targets. ·             ·         Assist in new product launches to include: o    Participating in cross-functional meetings, progress presentations, recommending targeted action plans to the senior management team o    Develop integrated launch plans with milestone timelines and schedules o    Manage the overall sku list and interdepartmental communication of project specifics ·             ·         Act as primary internal brand advocate for Design, R&D, Production, Merchandizing and Digital Development. ·             ·         Conduct competitive product and market research to provide targeted recommendations and feedback to meet stated business goals ·             ·         Ensure that all expressions of the brand are consistent with the creative and business goals across all platforms. ·             ·         Assist Marketing and Sales teams by communicating the status, goals and content of product lines ·             ·         Contribute to the development of presentations, marketing plans and materials to ensure consistency of brand and to drive sales objectives. ·             ·         Assist in development and execution of external facing brand strategy providing support at trade shows, sales conferences, client and partner meetings as necessary   For further enquiries please contact   Doug Irwin Brand Manager Boys Department   E-Mail – Direct Line +852 9689 0238
Brand Manager –continued   Functional Skills & Knowledge Successful Candidates must demonstrate: ·         A thorough understanding of the business of toy and brands creation and management; development of strategic, proactive development plans to safe guarding the overall brand experience.   ·         Ability to work within cross functional teams with strong verbal and interpersonal skills.   ·         Resourcefulness and a detail-oriented and proactive outlook to ensure all goals are met across all platforms and departments.   ·         Thorough understanding of current trends in the international toy and popular culture entertainment market space.   ·         Demonstrated ability to present with confidence in a clear and concise manner across all levels of the organization and with external partners.   ·         Must be self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to successfully manage multiple brands and products simultaneously in a fast paced and fluid environment.   ·         Ability to draw on diverse background to proactively anticipate the needs of the brand, growth opportunities and challenges at all stages of development and offer targeted solutions.   ·         A strong affinity for toys and a varied graphic/design sensibility with a critical eye and the ability to clearly articulate what constitutes a successful solution and why.   Experience ·    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, product development, or communications   ·    5+ years Brand Management / Product Development experience   ·    Thorough understanding of hard and soft goods manufacturing processes and techniques   ·    Experienced in leading cross functional teams and strong communication skills   ·    Excellent written, organization, time management, decision making, analytical skills   ·    Demonstrated success with established product lines in the toy industry   ·    Willingness to travel as required   Immediately available is preferred Note: Management reserves the right to add or change duties and job requirements as required Dracco Co Ltd Dracco Company Ltd. is a fast growing and successful kids entertainment and development company.
